Blog is no longer an old concept in social media world. It is the place where people make discussion or provide information published on World Wide Web. Usually, individual or group of people use blog in order to keep in touch with readers, do business or share their opinions about an issue. On blog, everybody is free to express what they think. They can appeal people to pay attention or even follow their ideas. It can be obviously seen that blog has got a big impact on social media life.

They work very carefully so that the company blog looks perfect and without any mistakes. Usually, the writers will use their own identity with the company name. This will increase reliability of the company.
There are two examples of a good and a bad blog.

Microsoft is one of the biggest multinational technology companies in the world. Its blog is considered one of the best company blogs. Every day, there are many posts published here. The story gives readers a closer look into the life of one team at Microsoft and how they protect data.
Foundry Network
Foundry calls its page on the SecureIT Alliance Web site a blog, but it's just a collection of press releases, product data sheets and white papers. The page contains numerous broken links and has not been updated since February 2006.

Wikipedia is a helpful site for everyone to search for information and even to do business. There are thousands of articles in numerous fields. Businessmen use Wiki as a tool to introduce their products. It is said that "Wikipedia is a great project but not a good source of information because it includes so much material which is not neutral or has marketing purpose". Personally, it is true as nothing on Wiki is absolutely precise. There should be some errors.
BlackBerry
On Wikipedia, they write in detail about BlackBerry phone, from history to usage. Many politicians are using BlackBerry, for example, Barack Obama or Hilary Clinton, due to its security. I find the article very interesting. However, until now, there are not so many customers buying BlackBerry in comparison with iPhone.
I hope you guys look at my post and leave your opinions about it.
ReplyDeleteA nice post with useful information. It is just my idea that Blackberry is quite expensive and the design is not attractive comparing to other phones.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. Yes, BlackBerry is not really popular in the world. However, it is said that its security is very good. That is why many politicians, such as Obama or Hilary Clinton, chose BlackBerry.
ReplyDeleteAs you mention, Microsoft has a quite great blog, they post a lot of article which can be quite useful for people who like technology.
ReplyDeletesometimes wiki pages are not so reliable, because many times the content is not updated. that is why I prefer to user specialized websites, once they keep the content updated more often.
